The Wood County Bar Association established a fund recognizing
deceased members, their life, work and commitment to the practice
of law. This fund will provide students the opportunity
to attend an accredited law school anywhere within the United
States. Recipients must have a connection to Wood, Jackson,
Ritchie, Wirt, or Pleasants Counties of West Virginia or Washington
County of Ohio. The scholarship recipients will be selected
on the basis of financial need and scholarship.
The Wood County Bar Association understands the needs of students
pursuing law as a career, and, through this scholarship, they
will provide the opportunity for many aspiring lawyers to achieve
their career dreams.
