The Proud to be a West Virginian Fund was established with LKACF in 2006. This fund was established by the Leadership West Virginia Class of 2006. The purpose of the fund is to support activities that will promote pride in being a West Virginia citizen.
Leadership West Virginia is a statewide program that develops, strengthens and connects emerging leaders across WV. The program works to motivate and develop a cross-section of leaders who will use their talents and abilities to inspire others and to foster a new spirit of energy, enthusiasm and vitality throughout the state.
The class takes place annually over an eight-month period, and includes 50 participants.
